Free to design

You can browse the Gallery, use the editor and save widgets without paying or making an account.

Pro

Putting widgets on your Home Screen or desktop, and the AI tools, need Pro.

iPhone and iPad

Pro is a subscription through the App Store, and Apple handles the payment.

Mac

Pro for Mac is one payment for a license key that works on up to 3 of your Macs. Dodo Payments handles the payment.

Agreeing to these terms#

Widget Ninja is made by Guram Kajaia, an independent developer. In these terms, “we” means Guram Kajaia, and “Widget Ninja” means the app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, this website, and the server the app uses for Pro and AI.

By using Widget Ninja, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it and these terms differ, Apple’s agreement wins for the iPhone and iPad app.

Pro on iPhone and iPad#

Pro on iPhone and iPad is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Apple takes the payment, and Apple’s terms cover billing, renewals and free trials.

Free trial

A new subscription may start with a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it turns into a paid subscription.

Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the price shown in the App Store until you cancel.

Cancel

Cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

Pro for Mac#

Pro for Mac is a one-time purchase sold on this website and in the Mac app. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, adds any sales tax, and sends your receipt and license key by email.

Your license key

Works on up to 3 Macs at a time. To move it, click Remove from This Mac in the app on one Mac, then use the key on another.

No subscription

You pay once. Updates to the Mac app are included.

Keep it to yourself

The key is for your own Macs. Don’t share or resell it. We may turn off a key that’s shared publicly or used against these terms.

Pro on iPhone and Pro for Mac are separate purchases. One doesn’t unlock the other.

AI features#

Pro includes AI tools that make and change widgets and draw pictures for them. What you write and the widget you’re working on are sent to our server and an AI model provider, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Results vary

AI can get things wrong or make something you didn’t ask for. Check what it makes before you rely on it.

Fair use

AI use has limits to keep the service running for everyone. If you reach one, the app tells you.

Not allowed

Don’t use the AI to make anything illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and don’t try to get around its limits or use it for anything other than your widgets.

Your widgets and what you add#

The widgets you design, and the photos, drawings and text you add, are yours. They stay on your device unless you share them or use AI as described above. You give us only the permission needed to process them when you ask the app to, for example to send a widget to the AI.

Only add what you have the right to use. When you share a widget, you’re responsible for what’s in it.

Our designs and the app#

The app, the Gallery designs, the illustrations and this website belong to us. You may use Gallery designs, change them and share the widgets you make from them. Don’t copy the app, sell our designs or artwork, or take the app apart, except where the law allows it.

Some widgets show data from other services, such as Apple Weather or public web data. That data belongs to those services, may be late or wrong, and may stop being available.

Changes to Widget Ninja#

We keep improving Widget Ninja, so features, designs and data sources may change, and some may be removed. If we ever stop offering Pro for Mac, the Mac app you have keeps working with your license key as it does then, though features that need our server, such as AI, may stop.

Our responsibility#

We work hard to make Widget Ninja reliable, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties, as far as the law allows. Widgets show what your devices and data sources report, so don’t rely on them for anything where a mistake could cause harm, such as medical or travel decisions.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Widget Ninja in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

Ending these terms#

You can stop using Widget Ninja at any time by deleting the app. Cancelling a subscription is done in your Apple Account settings. We may stop your access to Pro or the AI features if you break these terms, for example by sharing a license key or misusing the AI.

Changes to these terms#

When these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date below. If a change is significant, we’ll say so at the top of this page. If you keep using Widget Ninja after a change, the new terms apply.
